TEAM LUNDEEN RE/MAX RESULTS ANNUAL HOME FUNDRAISER!

For the past 9 years, Team Lundeen RE/MAX Results has been partnering with Recycled Lives, a nonprofit ministry serving in Guatemala, to raise the funds needed to bring dignified housing to families living on and around a local garbage dump.

Because of your past generosity and the help of new partners each year, we feel called to push for the chance to help not just one but TWO families this year! Team Lundeen is excited to raise at least $9,500 to build these 2 homes. Marvin & Luis' families are the next 2 families Recycled Lives is hoping to build homes for. Both Marvin and Luis purchased pieces of land next to each other in the San Gabriel community. They are work brothers and are excited to be next door neighbors.

Marvin & his wife Angelina: Marvin works full time for Recycled Lives in construction and community maintenance & improvement projects. Angelina it the local chicken butcher. Marvin has already planted trees and takes great care of his piece of land as he awaits the opportunity to build his home. We are hoping that if extra funds are raised, we can add a special sink/preparation area as well as the purchase of a refrigerator/freezer that will help Angelina grow her home chicken processing business, adding to the family's independence.

Luis & Gabriela: Luis works full time for Recycled Lives as our community assistant and liaison. He is an assistant mason when we build homes. Gabriela owns her own small beauty salon in a neighboring town. Their children Erick, 10 years old, and Gabby Monserrath, 7 years old, both excel in school and are wonderful helpers when we have activities with the children on Thursday afternoons. Luis' family currently shares a one room space within his grandmother's home. Grandma Imelda & Luis' family donated the land in which we built our ministry center. A sacrifice of future space for their family to build on, but they did so to support the work Recycled Lives carries out in their community.
